WORSHIP
Worship at PPC is a beautiful, shared experience, where we publicly proclaim our faith. Together, we confess our sins, pray with and for each other, and receive inspirational sermons grounded in scripture from our pastoral staff. Our spirits are lifted through traditional hymns and contemporary songs from our choirs, musicians, and praise team. Whether in a Sunday service in our beautiful sanctuary, or watching online from the comfort of your own home, we look forward to worshipping with you. Special services are held throughout the liturgical year, with notice of the services appearing on the PPC online calendar as well as in our weekly eblast and Sunday worship bulletin.

The session of PPC has voted to move Sunday morning worship to the Kerr Building in the event the A/C in the sanctuary gives out. After monitoring the A/C this week (July 7), we have decided to go ahead and move now. We are a little early in our decision, meaning the A/C works well on overcast days, but on days with full sun and furnace-like heat, the A/C units struggle under the workload and can’t keep up. Realizing the move will also take some time and effort and logistical maneuvering, it seemed wise to move on our terms, rather than in a state of urgent hurry. So, beginning Sunday July 13, we will have Sunday morning worship in the Kerr building until the new A/C units are fully installed in the sanctuary.
As we make this move for the season, remember Jesus’s encounter with the woman at the well in John 4. Jesus instructed the woman that WHERE we worship doesn’t matter, but the CONDITION of our hearts during worship is what’s most important.
Jesus said to her, “Woman, believe me, the hour is coming when neither on this mountain nor in Jerusalem will you worship the Father. But the hour is coming, and is now here, when the true worshipers will worship the Father in spirit and truth, for the Father is seeking such people to worship him. God is spirit, and those who worship him must worship in spirit and truth.”
