THANK YOU! It is amazing how fast a home can be built working on Saturdays. The Habitat House, except for landscaping, is finished. A certificate of occupation should be awarded by mid-February. Thank you all for your help financially, preparing lunches and volunteering each week. The weather was either rainy or very cold. However, we never got behind in meeting each week's assignments. What a tribute to all who worked! Look for information regarding the dedication as soon as inspection is completed. We are still taking donations until we reach our $65,000 goal. We are getting close and it would be nice to conclude this portion by our dedication date.

PHILANOLA VII—Please remember in prayer the members of the PhilaNOLA mission team who leave Saturday, February 6 for a week helping to rebuild New Orleans. The members of the team are: Susannah Cox, Steve Davis, Angie Edwards, Rocky Hoffner, Sonia Lee, Pam and Geof Martin, Peter Martin, Dan and Becky Oke, Marc Roberts, Doug Vass, Toby Vosburgh, Chuck and Barbara Williamson.

We can’t say thank you enough for the amazing response from our members, our churches, and our community for their response to help our friends living in the midst of crisis in Haiti and the many that are responding to meet their needs. Let’s continue to make a difference – help us help them!

We are asking our churches that collected Haiti Relief offerings this past Sunday to please bring to the Presbytery of Charlotte office or mail in. We are going to be distributing funds as they come in (to provide immediate relief and supplies to the folks that so desperately need it.) We are responding to their pleas for help! Thanks be to God for each of you and continued prayers for all people in Haiti and those around the world responding….

The Discovery and Disciples Sunday School Classes are assembling "disaster kits" which will be sent to Haiti as soon as is feasible. This is being coordinated through Charlotte Presbytery. If you would like to purchase items for the disaster kits, you may call the church office to see what items are needed or you my go to the Charlotte Presbytery website for more details.
