WHo we are

Welcome to Philadelphia Presbyterian Church! Our church was founded in 1770. We are one of the oldest churches in Mecklenburg County. The sanctuary we currently worship in was dedicated in 1976. Over the past 250+ years Philadelphia Church has been a thriving part of the Mint Hill community and beyond. At PPC we incorporate a mix of traditional and contemporary worship experiences. We look inward and reach outward. We are part of the Presbyterian Church (USA), a nationwide church with missions throughout the world. As a part of this structure Philadelphia Church is a member of the Presbytery of Charlotte and the Synod of the Mid-Atlantic.

We believe God is the ultimate authority, revealed to us through Jesus Christ, and that salvation is a gift of grace, not something we earn. Together, pastors and members share this Good News through lives of service and faith.

Founded in 1770, Philadelphia Presbyterian Church is one of the oldest congregations in Mecklenburg County. For over 250 years, our roots have grown deep in the Mint Hill community and beyond, sharing faith and service through generations. We are part of the Presbyterian Church (USA), connected with the Presbytery of Charlotte and the Synod of the Mid-Atlantic.
