VOLUNTEER

Physical donations of food items and monetary gifts that allow organizers to purchase food each week keep this ministry strong. As a church, we recognize that we act as the hands and feet of Jesus in the world. Our goal is to help all people experience the light and love of Christ, through the simple gesture of providing a little food and a lot of love. Something incredible has happened: in supplying the resources and sharing our space, a community is formed. The relationships that have developed and the laughter that can be heard when we gather to share with each other is proof that caring for each other’s physical needs creates the atmosphere in which love thrives.

We have a dedicated group of volunteers who help to donate food, buy food, stock food, pack food, deliver food, and help host the pantry when it opens once per month. The needs are great, however, and we ask you to consider if this is an area where you might be able to help us show care for our community. All financial gifts are invested 100% into the food ministry and in turn fully benefit the community.
