Leah Lough
PNC Chairperson
Leah Lough and her husband, Alan, have lived in the Charlotte area since 2016 and joined Philadelphia Presbyterian Church (PPC) in 2022. Leah currently serves as a PPC Deacon and the Head Usher. She is a retired non-profit executive from the healthcare and medical fields. Leah and Alan are originally from Michigan, lived in Ohio for five years, and Washington, DC for 33 years before moving to North Carolina. They now fully enjoy traveling and spending time with family and friends.

Ed Buksas
PNC Vice Chair
Ed Buksas is an active member of Philadelphia Presbyterian Church, where he serves on the Evangelism and Outreach Committee.
He, his wife, and their two young children, Parker (6) and Emma (2), joined the church family in mid-2022 after relocating to Mint Hill in 2021. Ed's commitment to service began during his time as a Peace Corps Agribusiness volunteer in Ecuador, where he met his wife.
Originally from Chicago, Ed is an avid Florida Gator fan and enjoys the outdoors with his family. Professionally, he works in Charlotte as an Operations and Supply Chain Manager..

Lisa Nance
PNC Treasurer
Lisa Nance is a Mint Hill native, and PPC holds a special place in her heart as she has been a member for over fifty years. Lisa was baptized at PPC in 1963 and married her husband Randy in the church in 1984. Lisa and Randy have two children, Jessica and Jerrod, and are fortunate to be known as “Pappy and Lola” to their wonderful granddaughter Raylan and their three grandsons: Merritt, Jack, and Lawson. As she raised her own children in the church, Lisa held roles in the Children’s and Youth Ministries. She’s also served four terms as a Deacon, acting as Moderator for two of those terms. Currently, Lisa is serving on her third Pastor Search Committee, is a member of Rolls & Records Committee, the Endowment Council, and the Second Chance Sunday School Class.

Erin Clark
PNC Secretary
Erin Clark and her husband, Chris, are from the Appalachian Mountains of Virginia. They have been members of PPC, along with their three children Annie (19), Ben (15), and Gywn (13), since 2018. Erin is currently teaching preschool, having been a music educator and nonprofit coordinator in the past. A love for teaching and growing God’s Kingdom lead Erin to serve the church in several roles: Food Missions Coordinator, Praise Team member, Evangelism & Outreach Committee, Christian Education Committee, and kids’ ministry volunteer. Erin has also served a term as Deacon, and has been a member of one previous Pastor Search Committee. For fun, the Clarks love swimming, making music, theatre, reading, spending time at home together, and playing with their dog, Eleanor.

Matt Hall
PNC Tech Expert
Matt his wife Hilary, and their two sons Austin (14) and Grady (11) moved to Mint Hill at the start of 2015 and joined PPC shortly thereafter. Matt currently works for the City of Charlotte as Assistant Director of Communication and Marketing, which follows a 20+ year career as a TV producer for TV stations in Charlotte, Washington, DC and his hometown of Atlanta. In the 10 years since joining the church, Matt has served on Session, the Building and Grounds Committee, the Technology Committee and helps with the A/V for worship. Matt and his family are all also highly involved in the Scouting program at PPC, with Matt currently volunteering as Scoutmaster at Troop 65 as well as Vice President of Membership Relationships for the Mecklenburg County Council of Scouting America (BSA). For fun, Matt, Hilary and the kids love watching Matt and Hilary’s Alma Mater, the University of Georgia, compete in all college sports as well as spending lots of time hiking, camping, backpacking and just about anything outdoors.

Erin Clark
