The Lord announces the word, and the women who proclaim it are a mighty throng.

In 2020, celebrations marked the one hundredth anniversary of the passage of the Nineteenth Amendment to the U.S. Constitution, which gave women the right to vote. Old photographs show marchers with banners emblazoned with the words of : “The Lord giveth the word. The women that publish the tidings are a great host” (asv).Psalm 68:11
