Boy Scouts of America Recognition
Well over one hundred boys participate in the Boy Scout and Cub Scout programs at Philadelphia Church. They meet every Monday night at the church at 7:00. There have been a number of Eagle Scout projects around our church campus over the past years, which is a final requirement in the Boy Scouts.
Each year there are trips to cold-weather camp. There is a summer week spent at Camp Grimes near Marian, North Carolina. Our scouts hold a bar-b-que fund raiser in the fall.
Ted Biggers is the Chartered Organization Representative for our church.
