Room in the Inn is an outreach program in which Philadephia Presbyterian hosts 12 homeless neighbors on Wednesday nights during the months of December, January, February, and March. We provide them with good food, fellowship, and a warm bed for the night. The program is affiliated with the Urban Ministry Center of Charlotte and is run in conjunction with other congregations and colleges in the greater Charlotte area.
RITI is a team effort with many volunteer opportunities from van drivers to overnight hosts to breakfast servers. Most congregants participate through their Sunday School class, but many also serve on an as-needed basis. Instructions for each of the jobs are linked below and can be printed on your home computer.
