The Bible Marketplace Rotation (K-5^th)
Come shop for knowledge in the Bible Marketplace each Sunday morning at 9:45 a.m. (9:00 during summer schedule). You may contact Ann Hutton or Cindi Hoffner for additional information.

The 2010-2011 CE year will begin in September. The following rotations will be taught for 4 or 5 weeks each:

Children's Church (ages 3-kindergarten)

What exactly is Children’s Church?

When you see the young children exit the sanctuary after the Children’s Sermon, they are taken back downstairs to praise God through singing, prayer, and activities. Children’s Church is for ages 3 through Kindergarten.

Children’s Church makes learning the Bible fun and exciting while at the same time equips the children with the necessary tools and prepares them to be active participants in PPC’s “grown-up” worship services.

Order of Worship may include: welcoming the children, singing, opening prayer, story time, activity or game, craft, and closing prayer. Time limits may not allow for all of the above, but there is always opening prayer, story, and activity/game/craft.

The Children's Library is located in room #2 outside the main sanctuary (old office wing). Any books that you would like to donate, please do so. They may be brought to the church office and the Library Committee will pick them up.

The Bible Marketplace
K-Grade 5

The Bible Marketplace is our unique Sunday school for elementary age (grades K-5) children. The teaching approach of the Bible Marketplace is based upon a five-week rotation during which the children study the same Bible story in five different ways and using five different learning intelligences. Each week, all the children meet for approximately 15 minutes in the Temple for group activities beginning at 9:45 a.m. before separating into the five rooms or stations.

The rooms are decorated and equipped for their unique emphasis and provide lots of opportunity for hands on learning. The children learn about the Bible story by acting it out on stage or in the puppet theater, preparing food that complements the story, or by playing games and singing songs, etc.

The Bible Marketplace is located on the lower level of the administration building of the church and must be experienced to fully comprehend. We'll see you there on Sunday!
